Spark Appliance is a family-owned and operated service providing quality home appliance repairs in the Bay Area. We have many years of experience fixing appliances and we strive to provide our customers with incomparable personal service. Spark Appliance employs professional technicians who are highly trained to repair appliances of any complexity.
Which appliances do you service?
We provide refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, AC, furnace, washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, range, cooktop, microwave, garbage disposal, and hood fan repair across the Bay Area.
What is your work mission?
We offer same-day and emergency repair service at no additional charge. We will schedule an appointment at the most suitable time for you.
Do you have a skilled team?
Our technicians provide professional, conscientious, and courteous service to all customers. Every technician is background-checked. Call Spark Appliance today — you'll get a real person on the phone, not an answering machine.
What about discounts and prices?
The diagnostic performed by our technician is free as long as you hire our company for the repair. Our initial service fee is $85, which includes the trip charge and the diagnostic fee (stackable and built-in appliances may incur additional charges). We also offer a 10% senior discount and a 10% first-time customer discount.
Do I get a warranty?
Yes. Spark Appliance Repair provides a 3-month warranty on parts AND labor for all repairs. If the same issue recurs during the warranty period we'll come back and fix it at no additional cost.
Which Bay Area cities do you serve?
Mountain View, Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Campbell, Saratoga, Santa Clara, and West San Jose. If you're outside this list, call us anyway — we travel for the right job.
How quickly can you come out?
Same-day service is the goal whenever you call before noon. Most calls placed in the morning get a slot the same afternoon or evening. If we can't come the same day, you'll always be on the next day's schedule.
What appliance brands do you fix?
All major residential brands. We work on Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire, Bosch, Electrolux, Amana, Jenn-Air, and most other manufacturers. If you have a brand or model not listed, give us a call before booking and we'll confirm we can help.
Do you fix commercial appliances?
Our day-to-day is residential, but we do take commercial-style and high-end built-in repairs (e.g. Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking) when parts are available. Call ahead to confirm before booking — we want to make sure we can solve your problem on the first visit.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Payment is collected when the repair is complete — no upfront deposit. The $85 diagnostic fee is rolled into the repair bill if you hire us.
What happens if my appliance breaks again after the repair?
If the same fault returns within 3 months, we come back and fix it at no charge. The 3-month warranty covers both parts and labor. The warranty doesn't cover unrelated future issues — for example, if we replace a drain pump and a different part fails six weeks later, that's a new repair.
